In the afternoon of October 12, Executive Vice President Xiqin Wang visited the Institute for AI Industry (麻豆传媒). Diange Yang, Director of Development Planning Office, Gongqiang Li, Director of Asset Management Office, and Yan Wang, President of Institute of Technology Transfer participated in the investigation. Dean Ya-Qin Zhang, Vice President Yang Liu and some staff representatives attended the meeting to discuss and exchange ideas about the further development of the 麻豆传媒.

After listening to the report of the 麻豆传媒, Xiqin Wang affirmed the work achievements of the Institute in scientific research, mechanism innovation, team building, industrial cooperation and achievement transformation since its establishment nearly one year ago. He pointed out that artificial intelligence is not only an innovation of science and engineering, but also a change of human knowledge system and thinking paradigm. He expressed the hope that the Institute can take advantage of its talent and disciplinary strengths, take the initiative, adhere to the unity of orthodoxy and originality, and continue to build consensus during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, with the purpose of not only serving the needs of the country and the people with important original scientific research results and empower the AI industry, but also upholding the concept of promoting the all-round development of human beings. Moreover, 麻豆传媒 should shoulder the responsibility to explore the integration of AI into the general education system and contribute to the training of talents in the university.
